We are trying something a bit different here . As its still dark outside we thought we would have some experimental light painting outside, helping and encouraging each other. Ela has agreed to be our model and she is quite handy with a light sabre.
Andrew McDougall ( DOODS ) has agreed to supply light painting accessories and help in general.
Anyone else with experience of this genre, especially settings please step forward, it would be great if you could share some knowledge.
In addition, inside the hall, we will have asked members to bring small objects of their choosing to create still life set ups.
Objects are only limited by your imagination. FRUIT, FLOWERS, VEG, OBJECTS, TOOLS, TOYS , TOY VEHICLES, LEGO, etc.
There is an infinite variety.
For this challenge we could possibly work in small teams with a set time limit, each team to pick a few objects from the communal pot of objects, set up and photograph said objects.
If there is time we can give a maximum time limit to photograph whatever has been choosen and then choose another set of objects. A bit like a cookery challenge on Master Chef. We could look at these images at a later date at another members evening.
This is all experimental but should be fun.
We dont expect competition photographs, but who knows?
