Mon 2 Dec 2024 - ZOOM - David Cantor - Conversations - Ramblings of a so-called Street Photographer’.

7:15pm

treet Portraiture is my passion. This often neglected genre comes with endless opportunities to interact with people from all walks of life, ethnicity and backgrounds. Much of my photography happens in and around the Brick Lane area of the East End of London. It's a place that holds a special place in my affections, several branches of my family have passed this way in the last 150 years.

7:15pm

Pecha Kucha, chit-chat in Japanese, is a unique presentation style. These presentations are known for telling stories through images rather than text and are typically brief. They use the 20x20 rule, where each presentation consists of 20 slides, and each slide is displayed for only 20 seconds, automatically progressing to the next one.

Mon 26 May 2025 - AMMENDMENT Crofthead will not be closed apparently - May Holiday

7:15pm

Dean , the caretaker for Crofthead has informed us that Crofthead will be open on Monday 26th of May, THE SYLLABUS stated it was closed. We have therefore contacted CLIVE WATKINS, the speaker we had on mono at the start of the 24/25 session, who  has agreed to come back that evening. He is going to demonstrate his processing, an area that was missed from his last talk, due to lack of time. He will also follow that with a scaled down version of his street photography which he felt married well with the mono .
